It’s a home intruder horror movie.

But, here, the masked killer is an alien from outer space.

One line of dialogue in the entire film.

And somehow completely riveting.

Truly one of the most audacious mainstream genre films in years - it’s a travesty this wasn’t released in theatres.

It’s unrelenting and anxiety-inducing. Less about dialogue and more weighted on sound design, character-defining action and atmosphere/tension. I was holding my own breath in certain sequences. Kaitlyn Dever is incredible, delivering a powerhouse lead performance that carries the whole film without any dialogue! Surprising, thrilling, fascinating, F’ed up! More of this please!
