As a huge fan of the classic Disneyland (and Disney World) attraction, I’m so happy to say I throughly enjoyed the film adaptation of Haunted Mansion! It’s a whole lot of fun, and while not everything completely worked for me, all the fun Easter eggs and references to the attraction more than made up for it! A classic Disney feeling mystery/horror film with some actual frightening moments, a great cast (LaKeith Stanfield is a STANDOUT), fun comedy, cool set design, and a surprisingly deep exploration of grief! This is made for fans of the attraction — and they will be geeking out (I know I was)!

Just wish we got to see Guillermo del Toro’s version…
