Who gave 80 for Brady the right to be so good?! I didn’t expect much from this film, but was so pleasantly surprised to find that it was such an entertaining, crowd pleasing movie! I really did not expect it to be as entertaining as it was — I genuinely had a smile on my face the whole way through! Seeing these legendary actresses come together in one film and prove they’ve still got it was such a delight! I loved seeing them all on the big screen again! Rita Moreno and Sally Field were my obvious favourites, but you can’t deny the talents of Jane Fonda and Lily Tomlin! Sure, the story and everything else was far from perfect — it’s certainly not a critical darling — but this movie was exactly what it needed to be. It’s full of heart, full of all the warm feelings that come with a good friendship so I can’t complain! Yes, it was cheesy, yes, it definitely stretched its premise a little too far… but I had a genuinely good time with it! This lightweight comedy is a win, whether you are a fan of Tom Brady or not! It makes for a perfect night out!

TL;DR - 80 for Brady is actually a really enjoyable, cute movie! Love seeing these iconic actresses team up and prove they've still got it! It sure did put a smile on my face and there are plenty of funny moments!

Fun Fact: As of this movie's release, the four female leads have twelve Oscar nominations and five wins between them, Lily Tomlin the only one who has not won although having been nominated. Of those twelve nominations, they only competed against each other once for an Oscar in 1980 when Sally Field and Jane Fonda were in the running for Best Actress in a Leading Role, Field victorious in that instance.
